R.M. # 343 NOTICES

Please be advised that the 2011 assessment roll for the R.M. of Blucher No. 343 is now open for inspection. Unfortunately, due to the postal strike, we are un able to mail assessment notices at this time. Not all ratepayers would receive an assessment notice this year, only those who have had changes in assessment. Kindly contact the office to inquire as to whether you would receive a notice and to make arrangements for an alternate method of delivery.

 

R.M. Council meetings are held monthly, typically on the second Wednesday,  in the Municipal Office, Village of Bradwell.

Please contact the R.M. Office for specific dates and times.

The RM is pleased to announce that the agenda for the RM Council meetings will now be posted on this website.

Effective immediately the Council meeting agenda will be posted here the Friday immediately prior to regular Council meeting dates. Persons interested in making an appointment to speak to Council have until the Monday before the regular meeting at 12:00 pm to make an appointment. At this time the final agenda will be posted. Exceptions will only be made under extra ordinary circumstances.

THE R.M. OF BLUCHER NO.343 HAS BEEN DESIGNATED AS ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE ASSISTANCE UNDER THE PROVINCIAL DISASTER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. THOSE RATEPAYERS EXPERIENCING UNINSURABLE LOSSES DUE TO HIGH GROUNDWATER OR FLOODING MAY BE ABLE TO RECEIVE ASSISTANCE FROM THE PROGRAM FOR THIS YEAR'S OCCURRENCES. CONTACT THE R.M. OFFICE FOR APPLICATIONS OR FURTHER INFORMATION.

2011 MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS

Please be advised that the following persons have been elected to a three year term by acclimation:

Councillor Division 2: Quintin Senger

Councillor Division 4: Dale Chysyk

Councillor Division 6: Francis Boehm

Accordingly, there will not be any municipal elections this fall.

BUILDING PERMIT NOTICE

At their March 7, 2007 meeting, Municipal Council adopted the following bylaws amending the RM's residential development regulations.

bullet public notice of intent to amend the RM Basic Planning Statement
bulletBylaw 1-2007, the actual amendments to RM Basic Planning Statement Bylaw 3-2001
bullet public notice of intent to amend the RM Zoning Bylaw
bulletBylaw 2-2007, the actual amendments to RM Zoning Bylaw 4-2001

At their March 7, 2007 meeting, Municipal Council also approved the implementation of the following service agreement fees:

bulletMunicipal infrastructure - $10,000 per parcel
bulletFire protection - $1,000 per parcel
bulletRecreation - $500 per parcel

the said fees are payable as follows:

bulletexisting parcel (where no previous residential use approval has been granted) - date payable to be negotiated with RM Council
bulletnew parcel - date payable upon initial transfer of new parcel ownership
